It's 3:30 am

It's almost 3:45 am..but the title says 15 minutes earlier...so tht will make it about 10 minutes of time taken typing from the title to this very fist sentence of today's post! Ahahaha...But then you can check the time of the post at the bottom of the last sentence of my entire post. That will give you the time at which I've completed this whole post. My eyes are heavy, I wanna sleep, but only after I design my sis's header for her blog. Aihhh..I still couldn't believe tht my mum actually browses through my blog from her office whenever her boss isn't around...Perhaps I should mind my language in my next post... Wanna sleep...O ya, today I've learnt something reaaaally gooooooood and hopefully it sticks to my mind. Thnx mum!

Am I Being Paranoid? (Well you be the judge)

It's not something I recently found, neither it is something new to me you or anybody else in the context of Malaysian especially to my own 'sawo matang' race. I believe most of us have been receiving many kinds of forwarded messages, a kind of reminder message I can say, and mostly the messages are closely related to one's religion. Like what I have over here, got it from a friend of mine. And roughly it reads,

".. SEKARANG NIE KRISTIAN SEDANG AKTIF DI SBN..19 ORANG PADERI MELAYU YANG BARU TIBA DARI SINGAPURA BERADA DI SINI SEKARANG.MEREKA MENGGUNAKAN SIHIR.BERHATI-HATI DENGAN JENAMA (AIR MINERAL) :- 1. ALBARAKAH 2. AL-MANSOR 3. AL-BISTARI P/SAMA ADA DIPEROLEHI SECARA PERCUMA @DIBELI.. (I hope anyone who is reading this, have the best state of mind, matured enough to treat my post as what a normal civilized adult would do)

Right, so, I read the message, and well understood. And since I am a Muslim, I have no choice but to comment on this matter as a healthy-minded Muslim. Well, as you read the message once, it is quite convincing (and I still think it is )...But after you go through the message, word by word, one may have some doubts, and you'll start to play the 'what-if' game.

What if the message was a hoax?
What if the message was created by a Non-Muslim who wished to see the ppl to boycott those brands whose owners are actually Muslims?
What if the message was created by a Muslim who hates the other Muslim?
What if the message was from a neighbouring country with the intention of sparking the hates among us?
What if the message is indeed true and the sender is a Muslim who's just trying to remind the rest of the Muslims?

You see, I can list down the 'what-if' possibilities all day long, and we'll never get to the right conclusion as to which possibility is true.

Whichever it is, we Muslims (or Moslems as they say elsewhere) have our own guide on how to react to this kind of situation.

I'd like to apologize beforehand for not giving you the exact quote from the Qur'an, however the translation of the quote ROUGHLY READS:

You Shall Not Receive Any Information Unless You Verify it yourselves. God has given you the eyes, ears, the brain, and all the senses ...(and the verse continues)

So, It has been made clear to us that, unless you get to know the matter right, don't simply believe what ppl told you...

The Camera or The Pictures? (Which one costs you more?)

Ahaaa~ Finally, the holiday I've been waiting for..I left behind my hostel room with much relief..
I'm at home, and unless my family have any plan in stored for this holiday, I'm pretty much 'terperap' at home. Ahaha..Nevermind, at least I've my time to rest and laze around..

So last weekend, all my siblings were at home, except for my poor little sister who's stucked at Kedah struggling for the coming exam..Huahua..! Ok, back to my point. Since we were all at home, I asked KakNgah for the pictures she had taken during the last Eid Mubarak. (She is the only person in the family who had a digital camera, OLYMPUS to name it, and it costs her for nearly RM2000..)

Having perhaps to post the pictures in my friendster account, I asked her,

"Kakngah, have you uploaded all pictures to your notebook? You see, If you don't have time to e-mail them to us then just bring the camera and I'll upload them here at home.."

and she replied

"Erk...aa...well, emm..I lost the camera...(while 'tersengih')"

"You what?!!"

"Yeah, lost it during this annual dinner. I think I misplaced it somewhere. It could have been the toilet..I think"

"And the pictures...?"

"They are all in the memory card. I haven't uploaded them anywhere...They're gone too.."

"Sigh..."

And you should see her face that time...Pity her for the camera..She barely recognizes the functions of the camera..Haii...While knowing the camera was costly, it adds to the sense of ..aihhh...

But, it's okay, because I know my sister can afford to buy another one..That would be no problem to her..

The pictures? There were pictures of me having breakfast together with my father after the Morning Prayer, there were pictures of my other siblings smiling with my mother, everone with their new 'baju raya', there were pictures of the whole family preparing to 'balik kampung'...and there were all pictures taken during the four days of celebration..Now they are gone..

Huhu..~ So sad..aihh...

And this event have drawn me to the Mastercard Ads they usually play it on the TV.

Doin' the Undone

Yesterday, marked another sad achievement in my life-I did poor in Mechanics of Machines,MOM paper-eventhough my claim doesn't come with the marking, but ppl say you cn always guess ur marks based on what you'd done during the exam and I found that to be true most of the time. So, later after the exam, my fella and I ( who both happen to have obtained low course work marks for this subject) decided to complete the 2nd assignment and submit it while knowing the due date for courseworks correction was over. We couldn't help to loose 7.5% marks of the overall courseworks marks...imagine 1 assignment contributes 7.5% of the overall marks. That is nearly same as 15 marks in our final exam of 100 total marks! And it was not on purpose that we didn't submit the assignment in the first place. Yeah, you know, as the Malay saying goes " Melayu Mudah Lupa" and "Manusia itu pelupa" we are able to forgive ourselves on this event..Ahahaha! Okay, right at this moment, we're doing the undone eventhough the final exam for this subject is over. However, of all the critics on the subject, there is one thing I appreciate out of this course-that is cam designing. It is great to find yourself able to design a CAM at the end of the semester...CAM, a genius solution in automotive engines in the early days..but now ppl are forced to utilize smart engine which is equipped with circuit and microprocessor as alternative for CAM. Nevermind though..I'm still glad to have had the knowledge of the CAM designing, which is the first step towards engine designing..Ahahaha..Or is it? Okay..kamon kamon siapkan assignment...!! Hopefully Mr Faruq still accepts late submissions..Amin~

TOUGHEST WEEK YET

Thursday, being another tough day in my llife as starting from last week, till yet next week, are UTP's final exam weeks......Blurghh...I couldn't sigh more. For the first time in my life, at this point, I feel like I need a Holiday. A meaningful one..I mean in sense of relaxing myself. Yearning for a small chalet, set near a beach, (I'm having prob pronouncing beach as 'bitch'..Huahua!) and I wouldn't take the effort to walk along the beach and enjoy the scenery whatsoever...I would laze on the comfy bed instead...I imagine my self smelling the Holiday scents which you usually find on the hotel's bed sheet, towels, and in the bath tub..Ahahaha! Nk balik nk balik...!!

EVERYTHING IS FALLING APART

And so the Prince of the Mt Olympus carrying out his duty, while reminding himself that it's not a burden but a responsibility instead. But sometimes he feels like he wants to give everything up, and sometimes he feels the job is too huge for him but when he is reminded of the golden mine he would get at the end of his term, he would recharge himself with the high motivation driven by the reward and 1001 hidden best upshots. Now, he's struggling to fulfill the mision, slow but careful, his walk is, and he's still walking....

Starting a Blog

And when everyone is busy updating his/her blog in FRIENDSTER account, I opt to start here instead. Hmm.. It just came to me all of a sudden the idea of creating a medium where I cn share almost anything I never thought I would..And this post is the first step towards a long series of tales I'm about to unfold.
There's a lot thing I need to catch up, since all these blog stuffs; template settings, html editings; are aliens to me. But I'm lucky since I hang out around those of high knwledge on these stuffs...Great! Looking forward to my next post! Until then, Study Smart and Play Hard!!
